Bush pushing NCLB-style mandates for high school students

The Los Angeles Times reports that President Bush is calling for mandatory reading an math tests throughout the high school years. This initiative extends the No Child Left Behind law into the high school years. It also comes at a time when the U.S. Department of Education is under fire for the Armstrong Williams scandal.
