W.Va. urged to triple ed-tech spending

WTOV9.com reports that a Department of Education committee suggests that the state of West Virginia triple spending on technology in the next fiscal year. Following that, they recommend that spending be increased by 10 percent annually for the following four years. The committee believes that schools need more money for hardware, software, infrastructure, and training. Currently, West Virginia spends 23 million dollars on education technology. The recommendation would raise that amount to 72 million dollars…
