Teachers stage gunman attack on sixth-graders
CNN.com reports that Scales Elementary School staged a fake gun attack on students on a class trip, and did not tell them that it was just a drill. The fake attack on Thursday was intended as a learning experience, and lasted five minutes, with children crying and hiding under tables. During the exercise, staff members convinced 69 students that a gunman was on the loose, and instructed to get under tables and stay quiet.
