RFID tapped to stifle cheating

Ars technica reports that while cheating has been around for as long as there have been exams, modern-day cheaters now have a whole host of devices to assist their dishonest activities. However, the other side hasn’t stood idly by. The UK-based Edexcel examination board has announced that the company will be adding RFID tags to its high school equivalency and pre-university examinations. The tags will be embedded in many exam packages, and can detect whether the packages have been compromised or opened early…
