Flash VideoFrom “The “Wisdom of Crowds” to crowds getting wisdom – more than 17,600 educators and exhibit personnel soaked up ed-tech know-how at the 29th Annual National Educational Computing Conference (NECC), held in San Antonio, June 29 through July 2, 2008.   James Surowiecki, best-selling author of “The Wisdom of Crowds,” was a keynote speaker.

If you were among the throng, here’s your chance to relive the excitement. If you missed attending, here’s where you can get a taste of the 2008 event. With a theme of “Convene, Connect, Transform,” this year’s conference was presented by the International Society for Technology in Education in cooperation with the Texas Computer Education Association.

The conference was attended by teachers, teacher educators, technology coordinators, library media specialists, administrators, policy makers, industry representatives, and exhibitors from around the globe.
