		<description>School library media specialists have  been teaching these skills for a long time (and there are many sites online with lesson plans etc.). But too often the classroom teacher doesn&#039;t want to give the media specialist the time to teach the skills - stressing the content instead. We need an information literacy assessment tool made mandatory everywhere. If it gets tested, it will get taught. Sad but true.</description>
