Press Release: Wisconsin Educational Communications Board partners statewide with Soundzabound Royalty Free Music

The Wisconsin Educational Communications Board (ECB) has officially announced a statewide partnership with Soundzabound Royalty Free Music. Soundzabound.com is the Atlanta-based producer and licensor of copyright safe audio for education. While Soundzabound is known for being a technologically progressive company, they have also earned a reputation as specialists in copyright, Fair Use and licensing.

Gene Purcell, Executive Director of the Educational Communications Board in Wisconsin said, “ECB is pleased to be able to offer Soundzabound to all schools in Wisconsin through ECB’s VideoLink on Badger Link. These royalty-free resources are an important step in helping students build 21st Century skills and information literacy instruction.”

Marta Bechtol officially announced the partnership at the spring 2010 WEMTA (Wisconsin Educational Media & Technology) Conference in Wisconsin Dells. Also in attendance were Phil Reichel, Wisconsin area Consultant for Soundzabound who helped to orchestrate the partnership and Barry Starlin Britt, President and Co-founder of Soundzabound Music.

“We are excited to partner with such a forward thinking group as ECB”, said Mr. Britt. “Our products will be a great alignment with Wisconsin’s 21st century skills initiatives, and I think ECB will be amazed at our ongoing commitment as they experience the benefits of Soundzabound services.”
