Cerebellum Corporation Receives a 2010 Videographer Award for ‘Light Speed Writing’

San Francisco, CA—July 12, 2010— Cerebellum Corporation’s Light Speed Writing: AP English Language & Composition Exam Prep was recently honored with a 2010 Videographer Award. Receiving an Award of Excellence in the “How To” Video category, the AP English Language & Composition Exam Prep video program is part of the Light Speed product line and was developed to better prepare students for the College Board’s AP® exam each spring.

Light Speed Writing: AP English Language & Composition Exam Prep reviews 30 of the essential topics covered on the AP exam, provides test taking strategies to help students prepare for the exam, and helps students understand the essay section of the exam. Students will learn to analyze prose and writing, thesis statements and research, formatting and citing styles, rhetorical style, and irony. The video pairs vital information with a young and diverse group of actors, on-screen graphics, and humorous antics to engage students and reinforce key learning points.

“With more than a million AP tests taken each year, we wanted to provide a quality visual resource to help students prepare for this difficult exam. We are elated to have met AMCP standards with this program and we will continue to release subjects within this AP product line,” said Cerebellum President, James Rena.

The Videographer Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and free-lance professionals. The Award of Excellence is awarded to those projects that the judges deemed were written, produced, shot and/or edited in an exceptional manner.

The complete Light Speed product line combines entertaining video with digital workbooks to reinforce difficult topics in core curriculum subjects. The AP Test Prep series is the eighth subject released in the Light Speed line. Each subject is based on state standards and provides a unique approach to learning. Along with a video tutorial, each program includes an outline, video notes, practice questions, games, and quizzes.

Cerebellum Light Speed: AP English Language & Composition Exam Prep is available for purchase on www.sdlearn.com and retails for $14.98. Other titles in the series includes: History of the U.S. ($14.98), Chemistry ($14.98), and U.S. Government & Politics ($14.98).
