The new features include an integration with Twitter that gives schools another way to promote and inform constituents about events as well as the introduction of QR codes that will allow users to instantly subscribe to a particular calendar using their smartphone.

Twitter

The addition of Twitter integration with Tandem for Schools gives users the ability to automatically generate a tweet about an event when they finish creating the event or when an event is modified. Users can now also automatically sign into Tandem for Schools if they are already signed-in to Twitter.

QR Codes

The integration of QR codes within Tandem for Schools is a major technological advancement for both Intand as well as its customers. This document can then be printed and posted around relevant school facilities and events. A user of a smartphone will then be able to scan the QR code to automatically subscribe that particular calendar to their personal calendar.
