All great resources. Common Sense Media also has free classroom curricula to teach digital literacy and citizenship, and they have parent education resources focused on how kids engage with media and technology. http://www.commonsense.org/schools

I want to call your attention to BAM Radio Network – The Education Station. There you’ll find short interviews with experts in education, child development, the neurosciences, and more. There are programs for early childhood professionals, educational leaders, and parents. Even Arne Duncan is a regular there.

There are so many uses for these podcasts. Professors assign them. Center directors open staff meetings with them. And the guests on all of the programs have the most up-to-the-minute perspective on education-related topics!

Another great resource, searchable by topic and grade level is http://teachersfirst.com. Includes information about safety and how to implement. Frankly much more helpful than Thinkfinity.

I’m so disappointed that WatchKnow.org didn’t make your cut! Surely it is more useful to teachers in their daily work than most of these…

Great list! The 2011 Horizon Report predicts augmented reality and mobile learning will be widely adopted over the next two years. Check out http://www.k12mobilelearning.com for resources relevant to both of these fields.

Good choices from 1 to 10. Also, give http://www.myvocabulary.com a look with their hundreds of free, interactive word puzzles and games aligned with state standards. Based on Latin roots, the site uses curriculum-based content at grade levels. All activities are printable. Answers can be emailed.
