Press Release: SchoolE Awards Announce Finalists, Voting Opens

LAWRENCE, Kan. — The expert panel of SchoolE Awards judges have finished evaluating the SchoolE Awards semi-finalists to determine the finalists, and voting is now open to the public. The finalists are as follows:

Large

1. BROWNSVILLE ISD
2. CLARK COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
3. CLEAR CREEK ISD
4. KELLER ISD
5. NEWPORT NEWS CITY
6. POLK COUNTY SCHOOL
7. SAN BERNARDINO CITY UNIFIED

Medium

1. INDEPENDENCE 30
2. NATRONA COUNTY SCHOOL
3. OXNARD UNION HIGH
4. RICHLAND COUNTY
5. ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
6. UPPER DARBY SD
7. YORK COUNTY PUBLIC

Small

1. BASEHOR-LINWOOD
2. GODFREY-LEE PUBLIC
3. LEXINGTON CITY
4. NORTH MASON SCH DIST
5. ST JAMES SCHOOL
6. UNIVERSITY ACADEMY
7. ZACHARY COMMUNITY

Districts may now begin voting for their district website and rallying their communities to help them take the lead. Voting will end on May 5, 2011, and the top district in each category that receives the most votes after email validation will be named the winner on May 6.

Semi-finalists that did not make it through to the final voting round may request feedback to help improve their district’s web presence by emailing kbrosious@allofe.com.

Anyone can place a vote using a valid Twitter account, Facebook account or email address at http://schoole.allofe.com/schoole/district_profiles.
