Having Friends Who Teach Pays Off in New Cerebellum Corp. ‘Kelso’s Choice’ Friend Referral Program
Both referring and referred educators save $50 on K-5 conflict resolution guidance resources with each purchase
San Francisco, CA– January 31, 2012 – Cerebellum Corporation, the producer and distributor of the award-winning Standard Deviants videos, has launched the Kelso’s Choice Refer-a-Friend program to help encourage awareness of the importance of teaching students conflict management skills. With increasing budget cuts, the referral program helps educators save money while sharing their knowledge of Kelso’s Choice.
The Refer-a-Friend program will offer educators $50 in credit on any Kelso’s Choice Conflict Management item each time they refer a new customer who purchases the 4th Edition Kelso’s Choice Conflict Management Curriculum or the Kelso’s Choice Conflict Management Complete Kit Series. A $50 credit will also be given to the referred customers.
“Several educators using Kelso’s Choice are already referring colleagues, parents or friends to the conflict management kits and turning them on to its benefits. The Refer-a-Friend program makes these conversations pay off,” said James Rena, President of Cerebellum Corporation. “Educators work on a very grassroots level and want to know what is working in their colleagues’ classrooms. This program will give that extra boost in savings that budget-tight schools need to bring Kelso’s Choice into their classrooms.”
The Refer-a-Friend program begins now and will run through December 31, 2012. For complete details, visit the Kelso’s Choice website at http://kelsoschoice.com/resources/referral/.
About Kelso’s Choice Conflict Management Skills Program
Based on the premise that each child is smart enough and strong enough to resolve conflict, the Kelso’s Choice Conflict Management Skills program is a powerful curriculum that equips young people with techniques to differentiate between manageable problems and those that require adult intervention. Using a child-friendly frog named Kelso as the guide, the program teaches elementary and special needs students nine easy-to-recall ways to mediate difficult situations. Kelso’s Choice is aligned with ASCA National Frameworks, has been implemented in all 50 states and 11 foreign countries, and is heavily advocated by a growing network of schools, psychologists and community groups.
