Press Release: ADAPTIVE CURRICULUM’S WEB-BASED CONCEPT MASTERY PRODUCTS NAMED FINALISTS IN THREE SIIA CODiE AWARD CATEGORIES

Scottsdale, Ariz. — March 26, 2012 — Adaptive Curriculum (AC), a web-based concept mastery solution that strengthens math and science performance by helping students build a deep understanding of core concepts and skills, has been named a finalist in three categories for the 2012 CODiE Awards. Sponsored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the prestigious CODiE Awards have been showcasing the software and information industry’s finest products and services for the last 27 years.

Adaptive Curriculum’s products achieved finalist status across three CODiE categories: Best Virtual School Solution for Students; Best Mathematics Instructional Solution for AC Math; and Best Educational Use of a Device-Specific Application for the AC Interactive Whiteboard solution. According to the SIIA, the three products were chosen “from a selection of high-caliber technology options as being the best in the software and information industry.”

“We’re extremely honored to be recognized by a group of peers who put the spotlight on educational technology solutions that are truly making a difference in today’s schools,” said Jim Bowler, CEO of Adaptive Curriculum. “Such recognition affirms our commitment to creating highly engaging, interactive math and science solutions for all students, teachers, and parents.”

The CODiE Awards hold the distinction of being the industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program. Nominated products were reviewed extensively by executives with deep industry expertise and who acted as judges to select the finalists across 25 different categories. The products were reviewed through live demonstrations, trial access, and supplementary documentation.

SIIA members will now select the winners from among the finalists during the SIIA member voting phase of the program that takes place from March 26 to April 13. Software members include the companies developing the applications, services, infrastructure, and tools that are driving the software and services industry forward.
