		<description>It certainly will be exciting to see colleges and universities shift to a different form of credentialing enabling competency-based models to be implemented in High Schools with no barriers and, to the positive, quite seamless progression to post-secondary education.</description>

As far as i know, this waiver has been granted --

Many  of the high school students come from traditional schools where they are required to spend so much time in a classroom (seat-time) to &quot;guarantee&quot; that they learn the material. Some of these students can master the same material in much less time, allowing them to dig deeper into subjects that interest them -- such as computer programming, etc., but are not emphasized because such topics are not included on the state tests.</description>
