“Common Sense Media and P21 share a commitment to preparing students to think critically, engage safely, and participate ethically in this increasingly digital world,” said Mike Lorion. “By giving kids these foundational skills of digital literacy and citizenship, they’re able to maximize the incredible potential of technology for learning. We look forward to the work we can do with P21’s members to support this important effort.”

As a catalyst organization in the 21st Century Skills Movement, P21 works with education leaders, the business community, and state and federal policymakers to ensure that the U.S. education system equips students with rigorous content knowledge and the skills they need for college, career, and citizenship.
“Common Sense Media and JP – Inspiring Knowledge further broaden the reach of P21 through our growing network of nonprofit leaders in the field, and add a new international voice to our community,” said Helen Soule, Interim Executive Director of P21.
