CoSN 2013: ‘Audacious Leadership’

The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) will hold its 18th Annual Conference March 11-13, 2013, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel in San Diego, CA. Themed “Audacious Leadership,” CoSN’s 18th Annual Conference will feature interactive sessions, thought-leadership activities and education technology experts from across the globe aimed at highlighting and inspiring impact-oriented visionary leadership in 21st century learning environments. Online registration is currently available and will remain open until Thursday, February 21.

“Districts nationwide are at a critical juncture determining how to transform their schools using technology to create compelling learning environments,” said Jean Tower, Committee Chair, CoSN 2013, and Director of Technology, Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough, MA. “At the Annual Conference, presenters will share their bold visions and the skills and strategies they used to transform their district into that vision. Once school leaders embrace their roles in confronting convention through vision, leadership, organization and skills, they will be equipped to realize the true potential technology brings to education today and in the future.”

Throughout the three-day program, Annual Conference attendees will have an opportunity to participate in various professional development sessions and engage with leading education technology experts from across the world. Conference highlights include:

  • 2013 International Symposium, “Digital Inclusion: The Global Imperative of Bridging Schools and Home,” March 11 – will explore the growing economic, educational imperative for new strategies and policies to achieve a ubiquitous technology environment at school, at home and in the community.
