College Board markets midweek SAT testing to schools

The ACT college admissions test overtook the SAT [1] for the first time as the most popular college admissions exam by a margin of a few thousand students, the Washington Post reports. The College Board, which owns the SAT [2], has been watching the ACT’s ascent for several years, and has taken some steps to try to reclaim its position.
