US STEM Foundation Hosts Golf Fundraiser

The US STEM Foundation is seeking players and sponsors for the first annual US STEM Foundation Golf Tournament, which will be held on October 7, 2013, at the Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket, VA. The tournament will raise funds for local robotics teams and provide scholarships and tuition assistance for deserving local high school/college students studying pre‐engineering, engineering, renewable energy, sustainability, information technology, communications, and computer science.

Come enjoy a great afternoon at one of the premiere private clubs in Northern Virginia while supporting a cause that benefits our youth and the future of our industries. More details are included in the enclosed brochure and on our website at golf.usstem.org. Individuals can register to play online ($150 per person, $550 per foursome) and/or choose from a variety of sponsorship levels and donation options.

Since its founding in 2010, the US STEM Foundation has connected with hundreds of local students through funded programs, events and activities. Students from elementary grades through high school have been exposed to cutting-edge technologies and applied learning experiences.
