Press Release: Vantage Learning Lends Helping Hand to Schools with Write Across AmericaEducation Technology Leader to Provide MY Access!® Writing Development Solution to Qualifying Schools and Districts Across the U.S. Program
YARDLEY, PA (August 28, 2013) – School is back in session in most states, but many of those states have made cuts in their education budgets. In an effort to offset some of those cuts, Vantage Learning, the world leader in education technologies, has created Write Across America, a program designed to provide students the opportunity to improve their writing skills.
“A student’s ability to write well can only improve his opportunities for higher education, a desirable career, and a better lifestyle,” says Laurie Edwards, chairperson of the program. “That’s why Vantage places so much importance on providing this, and other tools, that will quickly and efficiently help students to communicate more effectively through the written word.”
Available at no cost to qualifying schools and districts across the country, the program provides the use of its award-winning MY Access!, a writing and learning solution proven to expand and improve a student’s writing capabilities.
Through the use of artificial intelligence and linguistic technology, MY Access! provides instant feedback so a student can immediately improve his or her essays, reports and other writing assignments. According to Vantage, on average, a student’s essay scores can improve as much as 17 percent or more after just three uses. Vantage Learning will make MY Access! available for a limited time and at no cost to those schools that meet certain criteria.
“By applying for the Write Across America program, schools will be able to offer students Vantage’s proven method for improving their writing skills, which, in turn, will boost their proficiency as students,” Edwards said. “Vantage has long been dedicated to helping the education community secure available funding and essential tools for improving a student’s learning ability.”
