You do everything you can to bring STEM into your classroom – all so your students can take it out into the real world. Now, Pitsco is helping you integrate STEM learning with STEM doing.

The August-September 2013 issue of The Pitsco Network includes a new SySTEM Alert! contest for middle school students, designed to get your young scientists, techies, engineers, and math enthusiasts to apply all that STEM knowledge they’ve been soaking up. Students can research and write about a STEM topic or design and build a project or experiment to show their understanding of their chosen topic. Encourage your students to enter!

Additionally, you’ll find all kinds of articles in this latest Network issue to inspire you to bring the outside world into your classroom. From USD 247’s ultimate K-12 STEM experience and Cindy Jones’ new STEM Street Club to SpaceShipOne foam gliders and three new middle-level curriculum titles with more hands-on applications than ever before, you’re sure to find plenty of ways to turn your classroom into a real-world experience your students will love.
