State College, Pennsylvania, Oct 8, 2013 — The Washington School Public Relations Association (WSPRA) is building its association website on the Schoolwires Centricity2™ platform to give its members a responsive and engaging web experience, from any device.

“Schoolwires will make it easy for our organization to develop a responsive website that allows our members to have a great experience whether they access our site from their desktop, phone, or tablet. We appreciate their partnership and their sponsorship that supports our efforts to deliver exceptional professional development opportunities to our members,” said Lorraine Michelle, APR, President of WSPRA.

Centricity2 is a website and content management system that provides the tools and capabilities to build a website that will serve as a communications hub, engaging all members of the community via blogs, forms and surveys, social media and Web 2.0 tools. WSPRA will also use Schoolwires’ Responsive Web Design (RWD) services to ensure its website can be easily read and navigated on a wide range of devices, from desktops to mobile phones and tablets.

WSPRA is a professional organization that works to promote communication in public school districts across Washington state. The Association will use its new website to share with its members valuable professional development content created by Schoolwires. The content includes best practices culled from districts around the country on important topics like school-to-home communications and how to effectively engage today’s digital parents.

“The core competency of the WSPRA and its members is communications, so it is essential that their website supports the demand for mobile access and digital tools required for effective communications across multiple channels,” said Christiane Crawford, President and Chief Executive Officer, Schoolwires. “We are pleased that WSPRA will leverage Schoolwires content to help educate their members about best practices in communications.”
