• Blended and Flipped Learning Workshop, “Flip and Blend—Blend and Flip: Exercise the Mind and Body in 24 Hours.” This October 30–31 workshop, held immediately following the 2013 iNACOL conference, offers participants hands-on learning in the concept of ‘flipped learning,” including “flipped learning 101,” the Four Pillars of F-L-I-P™ and implementation best practices. Attendees will hear first hand from thought-leading educators and innovators, and share in networking and large and small group discussion opportunities. At the end of this workshop, attendees will have an understanding of the tools, skills and resources they need to successfully implement blended and flipped learning in their school or district. Co-hosted by Pearson’s School Achievement Services (SAS), Connections Learning by Pearson and the Flipped Learning Network, this $100 workshop offers attendees 10 contact hours of participation in order to earn an IACET Continuing Education Unit issued by Pearson’s SAS, an IACET authorized provider.
