Professional Development That Works

Screen-shot-2012-08-31-at-9.20.10-AM-150x150In too many schools, teacher professional development still consists of one-day workshops without much follow-through or support—which leads to very little change in instructional practices. But that’s not how it has to be.

A growing number of K-12 school systems are embracing new models of professional development that incorporate blended learning, social media, and other tools—transforming PD from traditional “sit and git” workshops to dynamic programs that foster continuous growth and improvement.

With the generous support of Eduplanet21, we’ve assembled this collection of stories and resources to help you make this shift happen in your own schools.
