Press Release: SOCS Rebrands to Highlight its Commitment to Communities

Rebranding builds on strengths of technology and online communication

Lincoln, Neb. (January 14, 2014) – Simplified Online Communication System (SOCS), a website design and hosting provider for community nonprofits has rebranded with a new logo and adopted “Connecting Communities” as its tagline providing a clearer reflection of the brand’s purpose and how the organization serves its customers. Based in Lincoln Neb., SOCS is provided by the Foundation for Educational Services (FES), a nonprofit organization.

“As a nonprofit, we are committed to serving those who are traditionally under served,” said FES President C. J. Thoma. “SOCS enables nonprofits to have a professional online image that is affordable for budget-conscience organizations. This rebranding defines our mission and purpose in helping nonprofits better connect with the communities they serve.”

Since 2003, SOCS has served K-12 schools with online tools to help them stay connected with students, parents, staff and their community. In 2007, SOCS expanded to include services to hospitals, municipalities and other nonprofits furthering their mission to help these organizations stay connected with their communities.

“Since our inception, we have served as experts in technology and online communication to our nonprofit clients,” explained Thoma. “With the rebrand, we will still focus on our technology expertise, but the new branding better emphasizes our mission of advocating for communities and those who serve them.”
