National Science Foundation quiz reveals startling facts about American beliefs

A recent National Science Foundation survey found that one in four American adults believe that the sun revolves around the Earth, the Houston Chronicle reports. It’s a flattering thought for sure, but not at all true. We all know everything revolves around Texas. Joking aside, our planet revolves around that giant ball of heat that will one day either explode or burn out, killing us all. Americans actually fared better in the survey, at least better than Europeans, notes Time magazine. You can take a stab at the 10 questions from the survey in the slideshow above.     Just to be REALLY clear, there is absolutely NO SCIENTIFICALLY PROOF that human beings ‘evolved’ from other species. NONE. But in the video accompanying this article that is stated as one of the ‘facts’ that many americans disagree with. It is NOT a ‘fact’ and it is shameful if ‘teachers’ are inculcating our children to believe this has been proven to be ‘fact’ when it, like quantum theories, is simply SCIENCE FICTION.
