San Francisco, CA April 29, 2014 – Jeff Owen, a 15-year education technology veteran, has joined School Loop, Inc., a software services provider for K-12 school districts, as VP of sales and marketing. Owen most recently was Vice President of Operations for School Innovations & Achievement (SI&A). He led the growth of SI&A as a software services provider to K-12 districts in California, and brings a wealth of practical experience and relationships to his new role at School Loop.
“Jeff is a great guy with a passion for helping people and has the operational skills and experience to build a large sales and marketing organization. He personifies our company’s mission and we’re very lucky to have him sign up for the important job of growing our base of 4,000 schools,” said School Loop CEO/Founder, Mark Gross.
“My experience with School Loop began as an avid user of the program (to my children’s sometime chagrin). Our use of School Loop has really opened up the door for timely meaningful communication with our teachers and feeling connected to what’s happening in the classroom,” said Owen.
School Loop celebrated its tenth anniversary this April. Created in a classroom in San Jose, School Loop is the key communication tool for hundreds of districts and thousands of schools, including many of California’s largest school districts.
“I share in the belief that students need to know where they stand and what they need to do, and have the tools, the resources, and the support of engaged teachers and parents to eliminate all barriers to success,” said Owen.
