Press Release: Insight Launches Online Resource for Education Community at ISTE 2014
Insight Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: NSIT), a leading worldwide technology provider of hardware, software and service solutions for districts and schools across the U.S., today launched Insight ON: Education, a news and digital information resource to help the education community use technology to improve teaching and learning. The site was launched ahead of the International Society for Technology in Education 2014 Conference (ISTE), where Insight is hosting several discussions covering the latest technology innovations, issues and trends impacting classrooms.
Insight’s introduction of this online resource for the education community is part of its expanded commitment to help school and district leaders capitalize on the transformative potential of the Internet, wireless technology, tablets and other technology advances in education. Through Insight ON: Education, the company is engaging with key education stakeholders to give them the knowledge and information they need to actively shape how technology is introduced and used in the classroom.

Insight also announced that it has added 20 dedicated technology-in-education-specific experts to its team to work with educators across the country, helping them understand how to utilize technology to enhance learning. The launch of Insight ON: Education and the expansion of the Insight education team builds on Insight’s 20-plus years of experience working with decision makers across the education spectrum, including teachers, superintendents, IT departments, and procurement organizations.
