EDMOND, OKLA. (October 9, 2014) – Funds For Learning, the nation’s largest E-rate consulting firm, launches its E-Rate Filing Window Survival Kits for Funding Year 2015. The kits will help E-rate stakeholders prepare for the opening of next year’s window by giving them the tools they need to navigate their way through the E-rate program. New rules for the E-rate program went into effect on Sept. 18, providing the first major overhaul since its inception.
“Applying for E-rate funding is a complicated process,” said John Harrington, CEO of Funds For Learning. “With new rules in place, it is going to be critical that E-rate stakeholders have the assistance and confidence they need to secure funding for their schools and libraries. Our goal is provide them with a few tools to manage this stressful time.”
Survival Kits include a free copy of GuideMarks™—Fostering Shared Growth, the new book by Harrington. The book highlights the facets of building and refining a positive, encouraging and healthy work environment. Anchored on respect, honesty, trust and integrity, each Guidemark is illustrated by personal anecdotes from Harrington. Kits also contain note pads, candy bars and headphones to help stakeholders power through their applications.
This is the third year Funds For Learning is offering the kits. The E-rate Filing Window Survival Kits are free, but limited in quantity. E-rate stakeholders can sign up to receive their kits at www.FundsForLearning.com.
