English Language Learners in Colorado Show Significant Reading Gains with Pearson’s Cornerstone

An amazing transformation is taking place at Colorado’s Glenwood Springs Elementary School: after only one year of using Longman Cornerstone, an English Language learning program from Pearson, young students who were unable to speak a word of English are now reading, writing and speaking the language nearly fluently. “I’m going to get teary-eyed,” says Jeanine King, the students’ teacher, “because of the success these kids have made.
