New storage demands created by virtualization, content preservation, and social media have a number of school IT departments looking to move their legacy data centers to the cloud. But is your data safe there?

High-profile data breaches both on and off campus have data security at the top of campus IT directors’ minds. In this webcast, two data center experts will discuss how schools and colleges can leverage cloud-based storage solutions to corral costs and better manage the data tsunami—safely and securely.

Glen Bellomy and Tom Tittermary, Technical Architects for Symantec, will discuss key issues that schools need to consider when moving their data centers to the cloud, including:

• Migration and retrieval of data
