Net Day and other efforts to wire our nation's schools are fine as a first step. But they're not enough. We must also focus on curriculum, teacher training, and fostering a change in attitudes among educators, politicians, and the general public. Installing wires and connecting computers are fine.

But, at the end of the day, they're just tools. The real value comes from what we do with them.
