Trying to find money to pay for all your technology plans? Using a little technology itself can take you a long way on securing dollars for your school’s computer and networking programs.
According to two public school administrators, here are some good places to find funding sources by using the Internet:
In the federal arena, consult: GrantsWeb, the US Dept. of Education, FedWorld, GrantsNet, Eisenhower National Clearinghouse, School-to-Work Internet Gateway, and K-12 World. Private funding web sites the authors mention are the Research Corporation (www.rescorp.org), in addition to just about every major Fortune 500, technology, and telecommunications company out there.
