Created by educator Terry Gray, “Mr. William Shakespeare and the Internet” may be the definitive Shakespearean resource on the web. The “Shakespeare in Education” section is a perfect place to start if you want to use the internet to teach the bard’s works. From here you can follow links to dozens of sites constructed for that very purpose. If you’ve visited before, the “What’s New” section alerts you to the site’s latest additions. Other features include a Shakespearean timeline, a bibliography, synopses of plays, literary criticism, and information about Shakespeare’s life and times, the Renaissance, Elizabethan theater, and the staging of his plays.
