Teachers and officials at Brunswick City Schools in Ohio have developed a new approach to training teachers on how to use computer hardware recently made available through state funds and programs.
The school has moved technology training sessions to after-hours, such as in the evenings, on the weekends, and on days when school isn’t in session. In addition, the school pays teachers to attend these programs. Prior to this program, teachers would receive in-service training during school hours, requiring the school to pay for substitute teachers.
