Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman signed a bill March 13 making school bomb threats a class C felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Siegelman signed the bill at Charles Henderson Middle School in Troy, which was disrupted by a bomb threat last year.
