Beginning this month, students can prepare for Advanced Placement (AP) exams using Apex Learning’s AP Exam Review service. Exam Review is a fee-based online study program that helps students prepare for AP exams in macroeconomics, microeconomics, United States government and politics, United States history, calculus, chemistry, English language and literature, physics, statistics, and the newest addition to the AP Exam Review catalog, Spanish language. By passing an AP exam, students potentially can earn college credit. After administering an online diagnostic, AP Exam Review creates a personalized study plan for each student, using interactive learning activities and practice questions from actual exams. More than 40,000 students used AP Exam Review to prepare for the 2001 exams. The web-based service features 24-hour access to multiple-choice and free-response questions from previous AP exams, diagnostic assessment of each student’s subject knowledge, personalized study plans, multimedia study materials, study tips and test-taking strategies, and direct online feedback from AP teachers. Tuition for the AP Exam Review service is $59 per student.
