Intel Corp. has created a series of free web resources for students and educators as part of its effort to promote the effective use of technology in education. "Design and Discovery" aims to spark an interest in engineering among students ages 11 to 14 with hands-on projects that introduce them to fundamental concepts. The program, which includes directions, handouts, and other resources, can be implemented in school or at after-school programs.
