Sponsored by the SHOPA Foundation for Educational Excellence, Kids In Need Teacher Grants provide K-12 educators with funding to help them realize their dreams of providing innovative learning opportunities for their students. For the 2002-2003 academic year, the SHOPA Foundation awarded more than $71,000 to 95 teachers in 23 states and the District of Columbia. Awards range from $100 to $500 each and are used to finance creative classroom projects.
