By asking your school community to do their everyday online shopping at any of the 450 or more stores in the iGive.com online mall, you can help raise additional funds for your school. iGive.com returns up to 27 percent of each purchase to a charitable cause of that shopper’s choice. Participating merchants include big names like OfficeMax, Lands’ End, Barnes and Noble, eBay, and ProFlowers.com. So far, iGive.com members have raised more than $1.2 million through iGive.com to benefit their favorite charities. Until Sept. 30, for every first-time shopper, iGive.com is sending an extra $5 to their cause in honor of the back-to-school deals currently available in many of its popular online stores. Joining or listing your school with iGive.com is free. Checks are issued monthly, 75 days in arrears to allow merchants time to report merchandise returns. The minimum check amount issued is $25; funds below this minimum carry over until $25 accrues.
