Until Sept. 30, K-12 schools can purchase a site license for Macromedia Studio MX 2004 for $2,000 for use on 500 school-owned computers or for $3,000 for use on 750 school-owned computers. After Oct. 1, the price increases by $500, to $2,500 and $3,500 respectively. Qualified educators and students may purchase single copies for $199.

The new Macromedia Studio MX 2004 K-12 Site License Solution is a complete, integrated suite of multimedia and web development products that enable educators to incorporate web technology into the classroom.

With Studio MX 2004, teachers, students, and administrators can build web sites and applications with Dreamweaver, create interactive content and applications with Macromedia Flash, generate and optimize web graphics with Fireworks, and incorporate vector graphics with FreeHand.

Studio MX 2004 software is expected to ship in September 2003, and the new site license solution will be available in October 2003.
