Each summer the C-SPAN Teacher Fellowship program brings three teachers to C-SPAN headquarters in Washington, D.C., to work with members of C-SPAN’s community relations department for four weeks. Teachers and media specialists who have demonstrated creative use of “C-SPAN in the Classroom” are eligible to apply. Projects will include development of educational print, video, and online materials. Each fellowship, valued at $6,500, includes: a $3,500 stipend; an additional $2,000 for housing costs and other expenses; $500 in videotapes of C-SPAN programming from the C-SPAN archives; and round-trip airfare to Washington, D.C.
