The Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant and Loan program will award $325 million in loans and grants to help rural communities nationwide pay for distance learning and telemedicine. The program provides funds-either in the form of loans, grants, or a combination of both-to schools located in isolated areas to purchase equipment needed to improve educational resources for students. This year, $15 million in grants are available; each request must be for a minimum of $50,000 and a maximum of $500,000.
