More police allowed to bring their stun guns into schools


Canada’s The Globe and Mail reports that many U.S. school districts are allowing police offcers to roam school hallways with high-voltage stun guns. Parents like the stun guns because they help reduce security risks. The newspaper points out that while the stun guns are used in hundreds of U.S. districts, they are unlikely to be used in Canada.
