Oregon’s top tech teacher has seen it all in past 24 years

The Hillsboro Argus profiles Hillsboro (Ore.) High School technology education teacher Don Domes, who won the 2004 Oregon Technology Educator of the Year award. The 51-year-old Domes came to the school 24 years ago, when it didn’t have a single computer. Now, the school has a lab with 100 computers, and Domes has added elective courses in architecture, electronics, drafting, robotics and design technology.
