Three Florida magnet schools ready for tech spending spree

The News-Press of Fort Myers, Fla., reports that three local schools have been awarded a three-year, $3.3 million dollar federal magnet school grant, making the district just one of 50 nationwide to win the funding. Most of the money will be spent on technology, and one school’s principal said: “We are going to do things to integrate curriculum with technology like it’s never been done before.”
