Machines controlled by brain signals becoming a reality


An Associated Press story, carried by Yahoo!, reports that researchers are hard at work to devise a way for electrical signals from the brain to serve as instructions for computers. This could open up new doors for paralyzed people, who could one day communicate simply by thinking their messages. The AP reporter was given an opportunity to sample the prototype equipment used in this research.
