Japanese students get to interact with Honda’s prized robot

An Associated Press story, carried on Yahoo!, reports that Honda Motor Co. is loaning a walking robot named Asimo to Japanese science teachers who wish to demonstrate robotics to their students. The robot can jog, handle stairs, and avoid obstacles. Although the robot is well known to Honda employees, this is the first time schools in Tokyo have been allowed to use it as part of their curricula.
