The Macomb Daily of Mount Clemens, Mich., reports on a local high school’s four-year Design Technology/Engineering Design program. The program, which prepares students for careers in engineering, includes a $100,000 rapid prototype FDM machine that builds designs based on 3-D drawings. Very few high schools in Michigan have access to this technology, which has been a big hit with students.
