Opinion: Bush budget stance on education both fair and realistic

In a column for The Orange County Register, Lisa Snell, the head of the Los Angeles-based Reason Public Policy Institute’s Education and Child Welfare program, voices strong support for the Bush administration’s efforts to cut spending on what she calls “questionable education programs.” She also defends the efforts to eliminate the Enhancing Education Through Technology program because schools are already getting more than $2 billion each year in technology grants.
