Texas ed-tech bill draws fire as vendors sense an Apple bias

The Dallas Morning News reports that some of Apple computer’s competitors are upset with a bill in the Texas Legislature that would increase the amount of Apple laptops in schools. Rep. Kent Grusendorf, the chief backer of the bill, insists that there is no bias toward any vendor in his effort to increase Texas’ school technology spending by $450 million of the the next two years.
